You are god-like

Text: Genesis 1:27 (KJV)

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

There is an original sample and image you are made from. The masterpiece which you are created from is God himself, that is, God’s character and his way of doing things is inside of you. He made us with His physical, emotional and spiritual compositions. He poured his content into you, this is why you are god-like. There is a reigning content of God in you. You are reflecting God’s nature of creativity and a responsible entity by nature.

God created us to be in charge and responsible in our vicinity. God transferred his DNA to us, we are carriers of God’s DNA, so we cannot express anything less than god-like. We are His replica and should not act otherwise but instead we should bear a heavenly image.

We are God’s resemblance and must portray likewise in quality. We are dressed with God’s selected garment, that is why we are like him in forgiveness, love, peace and power etc. The old garment is pulled off and burnt in fire, therefore Christ now defines us.

Psalms 82:6- “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most high”. We have been called gods and we must take charge because we are appointed to rule, govern and dominate. We are the visible god in our organizations and therefore commissioned by God to represent him in our environment based on God’s standard. We did not make ourselves; rather He made us in His image. There is God’s residual Spirit in us which makes us upright. We should use this Spirit to discover many more inventions here on earth and remember we cannot disconnect from him and still operate in his image and likeness.

PRAYER POINTS:

1)Father, thank you for making us in your image, please help us to act as gods based on our supernatural content, in Jesus name.

2)Oh Lord, as we are made in your likeness, may we cherish and love what God loves as His representative here, in Jesus name.

3)Oh Lord,  may the dominating gene of our DNA be evident in our behaviours, in Jesus name.
