Drop the Extra Weight

Text:Heb12:1
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Weight can be unnecessary load we engage ourselves into. Drop off things and someone influencing your decisions or actions. Weight draws us back from achieving speed and results. Certain times, we drop some loads and carry some that is still affecting us. There are loads still weighing us down from living right and they stand as a yoke so little but too difficult to drop, we need the help of God. Seeing we already have things surrounding us that we need to deal with, don’t add extra one because it hinders speedy achievement. There is something you are pursuing to achieve, get focused. The crowd may stand as weight, but your mind must be single. Jam1:8 A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. There are little foxes that spoil the vine; we must be careful to identify them and strip them off around us. There are specific weaknesses we are still struggling to eliminate, and it is slowing us down. We can not continue to hide and manage it.  Do not allow spiritual and parasitic luggage to hinder us from fulfilling our target. We have a model champion (JESUS) who both began and finished strong, do not be distracted from Him. Do not lose sight of where you are heading because of weight; instead, drop off the EXTRA. Do not compare yourself with others, but compare yourself with yourself based on God’s endowment upon you.   
Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. The old nature we carried into this kingdom needs to put-off. It is not part of this kingdom and must not be allowed to slow us down. They have a way to limit our output and relationship with others; we should instead put on the new nature.
Prayer Points
1)Father help us to identify the secret weaknesses we are dealing with and the ability to drop them off in Jesus name.
2)Oh Lord help us to carry a life shaped up by God even in the midst of this perverse generation in Jesus name. 
3) Help us to boldly declare and cut off from negative influences to out wrong decisions in Jesus name.
