Text: Acts 4:32(KJV)                                                          

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

Friends, the success of the great wonders amongst the church in the early days is the fact that they worked and stayed in one accord. As believers they were with one heart and one soul. So their fellowship and their possession was with reflection of the heart of unity that is in God the father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. They did all things in common that reflects the nature of Jesus.  So, if we must succeed in the work of ministry and others we must learn to stay and walk as one soul knitted in love. This means our thoughts and plan must align with the plan of God that is what brings one heart and one voice. We cannot work on our own agenda and expect unity of purpose therefore work together if we must avoid rancor. Romans 15:5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus

Interestingly, unity is just more than agreement rather it is oneness that emanates of the spirit which is a force that cannot be broken. We must be bound together as to effectively do the work of Him who has sent us. It requires working in harmony as we push the God’s agenda. Hence, we must do all without strife, pride or selfishness as to represent Christ. 2Cori 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. Therefore, it is in this atmosphere that the power of God flow without grudge. I pray we shall stay in one accord today in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Heavenly Father, help us to yield our hearts in all our relationships without misunderstanding and disunity in Jesus name.

Text: Acts 2:3-4(KJV)                                                         

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Friends, there is an exchange from divinity that when it visits you, you cannot deny the evidence. It is an encounter from heaven that met the disciples in the upper room as they were in one accord. It comes like a rushing wind from heaven that leaves each person with an uncontrollable fire upon their tongues. And today it is evidence as a glory that engulf the people that brings about purification and power. It is a transformative and miraculous moment in that day of the Pentecost. Hence, it births divinity so powerful that we cannot resist. It is a promise as it is empowered by the Holy Ghost therefore wait for it. Act 4:31 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Amazingly, it is a tool of communication that originates with divine fire into our tongues that grants us access to the spirit. It is a realm on intimacy with the supernatural.  It is not a careless word but distinct with grace as it is from heaven. Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me. It is ignited by the Holy Ghost that influences our expression. Therefore, it launches one into boldness and a witnessing force that brings about a notable miracles. And it takes away fear and bring about unshakable conviction to preach the gospel of Jesus. So, we must be deeply united in prayer to bring down this power today as we continue to walk in the spirit in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Father, fill us today with this flame of truth and life as we yield to the Holy Ghost by absolutely surrendering to the will of God in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, it is a fire that heals rather than hurts.

And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh.

Friends, a double minded heart is a huge challenge in a world full of confusion. It is important we develop a single hearted mind that make us to remain focus on God alone because there are a several alternatives that pose to stand against our confidence in God. So, this is a heart fully devoted on God alone. It is an undivided allegiance to the love, purpose and plan of God as we pursue destiny. Hence, we do all to honour God without looking back.  It is a heart focused on God and not torn into pieces with worldly affairs which has brought about distraction in life. Remember, it is the spirit of God that makes our heart tender. Deuteronomy 6:5
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Interestingly, from the scripture above, God promises to give us one heart with His spirit. In this case you cannot be influence by negativity because you are knitted with God. Psalm 86:11 Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.  Yes, it is not a heart driven by ambition or the opinion of men that brings about comparism and competition, rather a single heart that is solely for the Lord in all ramification. Eph 6:5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ. Therefore, it is the spirit of God that can transform a hardened heart to a heart of flesh if only we can yield to Him. I pray we shall be controlled by His spirit in obedience, love etc and not self-centeredness as it common in our time. I encourage us to focus Christ today in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Father, help us to always return to God no matter the challenges of our time as we remain single hearted to our creator in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, you can be wholly committed if we surrender all to Jesus.

Text: Ecclesiastes 9:8(KJV)                                               

Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.

Friends, in our journey of purpose there is a virtue that we must develop that can stir us up for a fulfilled destiny. Hence, to keep our garment white is an important instruction in addition to not let your head lack oil as it is subscribed from the scripture above. It is necessary we engage this as a daily disciplinary attitude in our walk with God. Therefore, our engagement with God must be stainless even though we are not perfect. It is a life that we can develop by focusing on purity, righteousness and holiness which is the lifestyle of a believer. So, we must live a life that reflects Christ nature. Isaiah 1:18 Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. We should not allow the standard of the world to make us compromise in our walk with God. God will keep us burning in love as we walk with Him.

Amazingly, God can keep us spotless if we surrender our lives to Jesus. Remember, His blood is the cleansing power that can make us whole and completely white again as snow no matter the long state in sin. Psalm 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.  So, let’s embrace Jesus as our saviour today as He takes away the old garment of sin and put on us a new robe.  Zech. 3:3-4 Take away the filthy garments from him... See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.  Therefore, we are encouraged to be consistent in obedience to God’s word as to keep our garment white. And this is possible as we yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit as we make our head not to lack oil by avoiding the distractions that are in world with lust and pride of life in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father make us to be spiritually ready as to join the wedding train of the Lord as we keep our fire burning in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE Remember to purge your life daily by His blood.

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest

Friends, there is a call for diligence and hard work in all we do. Let’s learn to do all with our all. It is not a time to work with lazy attitude. The work of our hands is the source of Gods blessing upon us. So, we must pour our energy in our duty post. It is passion that makes us to dedicate our lives to duty as it is driven by focus which is expressed in all we do. It is always visible in our spiritual, relationship and our professional assignment. It goes beyond hard work but it requires wholeheartedness that brings about tangible result today.

Interestingly, it is important we do all with excellent mindset which is seen in our sincerity of heart. It is a half measure experience that delays our outcome. Therefore, let’s stir up ourselves as we live each day purposeful to do our best. We should stop minimal effort today. Remember the little fruit is as a result half measure effort which we can change to transform us today as we do all with our might in Jesus name.

Father teach us to engage wisely with our strength for a productive living in our adventures today in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE Remember to be intentional as to do your best with your all.
