Text: 2 Samuel 3:1(KJV)

Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker.

Friends, we can see that life is a journey with growth as the main key for advancement. So, do not remain stagnant. Remember, each day presents us with life challenges, but the good news is that we overcome those obstacles as we keep growing that makes us to become stronger and stronger over time. Hence, you can overpower the difficult moments. Yes, the trials build us up as we are strengthens and it purifies us like gold that goes through fire. 2Cori.12.9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Amazingly, the growth in this kingdom is possible as we grow in our faith in God and persevere over the situation. Though we can start dim, but you can shine out stronger. But the path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day." – Proverbs 4:18.  So, we can draw spiritual strength in the place of study of God’s word and also in the altar of prayers. Remember, your muscle is growing through resistance and pressure even in that situation in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Father, I pray the struggles we go through, will not break us down rather make us to wax stronger and stronger each day in Jesus name.

Text: Psalms 40:3 (KJV)        

And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

Interestingly, God has done many wonderful things for us, so, it is time to be happy and praise the name of the Lord with your all as long as you have the breath of life.  Remember, He has brought you out of the horrible and unimaginable situations, pit and from slippery clay where you cannot even help yourself. Friends, do not forget His wonders to you so quickly and start to list new requests again. Learn to create moments in between the days and events to praise the name of the Lord. Psalms 33:3- Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise. I tell you, this attitude must be intentional if not, you will have several excuses because of the expected that has not happened. It is an effortless and noiseless realm where you abandon all to God and walk into His presence with a sincere heart of melody.

Brethren, let us develop a new attitude to sing that will equally make people wonder and encounter your new revelation in His presence. Matthew 8:27- But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this……Isaiah.42:10- Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof. This new song can convert your long-lasting prayer requests to a testimony. This is the best time to start singing and watch those hanging testimonies come to a physical reality in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Oh Lord, please fill our mouth with an outbreak of light at the place of praises and melody in Jesus name.

Text: Exodus 23:2 (KJV)

Thou shall not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment.

Friends, we are expected to do things differently from everyone else. There is a general norm which we must all deal with as believers, which is “If you cannot beat them, you join them”. We must fight those thoughts and learn not to follow the multitude to do evil. According to our text, we can see that this challenge is still going today. 

The fact that we have Jesus as a helper gives us the courage to make right decisions, so I encourage you to set a pace for the good multitudes or followers of today that will turn into a huge increase tomorrow. We should remember to make an effort to stand out and shine in the midst of darkness, it will definitely be hard initially but with God, it becomes much easier and you end up with peace and become a trendsetter. 

Romans 12:2- And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Many of us still feel pressured because of the people we hang out with, but the truth is the closer we are drawn to those people, the farther we are from God. So I urge you to walk in the way of Christ than in the way of the crowd. Remember, you are not missing anything good by following Jesus Christ. 

2 Chronicles 32:7- Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him. You can be that one individual that can set a pace for the multitude to follow. Always try to differentiate good from evil, even when the majority is on the wrong track.

  James 4:4- Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.  Can Jesus Christ be present in your gist and leisure time? Can you represent Jesus at that corner?  Make Jesus Christ to be seen and known always. Do not allow your social preference to dilute your Christian beliefs. We must be conscious of our values and faith in God, even in making choices. Remember, if everybody is doing it, it does not make it a good thing. So, BE SINGLED OUT POSITIVELY.

1. Father, please help me to stay strong, so as to stand out as a positive influence in my vicinity, in Jesus name.

Last Day of June

Text: Genesis 21:7 (KJV)

And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

Have you forgotten there is a prophesy over your life? From our scripture today what God said concerning you must end with Congratulations and here you are the last day of June. God does not want you to wait an extra day before the fulfillment of His prophesies over your life? Rejoice, it is done!!! Yes, there may be delays, but what hinders God’s plans and prophesy in our lives are just road blocks and they come in various shades, like for Sarah, it was age. But one thing we must understand from our text of today is that fulfillment of prophesies breaks barriers and boundaries. The truth is, God has planned out our future which will certainly become a reality in line with God’s decree.  It says in Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God actually has an appointed time and season for the actualization of any miracle over your life.  There is a reality end by the corner.  It says in Jeremiah 32:27- Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? It might seem too hard to believe but there is nothing too hard for God. If this same God that we serve can break the yoke of barrenness over Sarah’s life despite her age, then there is no issue He cannot surmount.

I assure you, that barrier of yours that is termed difficult is ending today, you just need to understand that there is nothing called impossible with our God even Sarah could not believe she will give suck to a child. So the good news is, your concern is turning to a miracle because God cannot break His promises. 2 Corinthians 1:20- For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. I encourage you, no matter how those barriers might try to discourage you, tell it “God does not break His promises, so you are too small for my God”. I pray God will break all those barriers and give you an outstanding testimony which will impact your world in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.      Father, according to the time of life, may I carry that my miracle idea with tangible evidence, in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, miracle and wonder are available every season. Cheer up.

Text: John 2:2-3 (KJV)

2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. 3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, they have no wine.

Friends, the absence of wine comes as a challenge to mankind, but how you handle it matters a lot. There is a tendency for shortage, scarcity, etc  which usually does not have any timetable? One fact about life that marvels me is, challenges of life have no respect for faces, like literally, no age or race challenges only go to, but instead, your size determines your level of challenge. We can see an illustration of our text of today. Jesus and His disciples were invited to a wedding, and at that wedding, the wine finished.  Yes, you need fresh oil to finish well in any situation.   Can you imagine, in the presence of our great Saviourthat wine still finished? She said to the servants, “whatever He tells you to do, do it”, that statement that was made was the key that changed the story. Isaiah 1:19-If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land. Jesus transformed that tasteless, colourless water, which was present to finishing wine,, and He can do the same in our livestoday by giving you finishing grace.

The truth is, there is still an acceptable gift in every one of us no matter the current scarcity, which the master will use to turn our stories.  Just invite JESUS. So, I urge every one of us to always remember to learn and obey the instructions. 1 Samuel 15:22b- Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. The amazing part is that the  finishing wine which was transformed by Jesus was even sweeter than the original one. BELOVED, THE GOOD AND THEBEST IN YOU IS ABOUT TO BREAK FORTH.which will make our journey sweeter, so trust Him today.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.       Oh Lord, please help us to always hear your voice in and out of those challenges, in Jesus name.

2.       Oh Lord, may our reserved wine show up, as we enjoy the sweeter part, in Jesus name.
