Text: Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Friends, waiting on the Lord is not a sign of weakness but an expression of faith and complete dependence on Him. In a world that promotes instant results and quick solutions, God's timing often requires patience, trust, and perseverance. Therefore, waiting patiently on the Lord means believing that He is working behind the scenes even when nothing seems to be happening, we must be rest assured it will turn out well. His delays are never His denials, and His timing is always perfect. Psalm 27:14 says, Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. As we wait in prayer, worship, and obedience, God prepares both us and the blessings He has ordained for our lives.
Interestingly, many become discouraged because they compare their journey with others or try to force doors open ahead of God's appointed time. Yet those who trust God's process never regret His timing. Lamentations 3:25–26 - The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. Therefore, refuse impatience and continue to serve God faithfully while you wait. However, let your waiting season become a season of spiritual growth, not frustration with negative disposition. Then, as you remain steadfast in faith, God will renew your strength, fulfill His promises, and bring His perfect plan to pass in your life in Jesus' name.
Prayer Point:
Father, strengthen my faith as you remove every spirit of impatience, and help me to trust Your perfect timing in every area of my life in Jesus' name.
Action Quote: Remember, God's timing is always perfect; those who wait on Him will never be disappointed.
