Text: Proverbs 18:10 (KJV)
The name of the Lord is a strong
tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Friends, we have the privilege to run to God in
times of trouble as we run away from uncertain seasons. Yes, the unexpected
challenges make many people to look for safety in systems, people, or resources
but true security is found in God alone. The Bible describes His name as a
strong tower, a place of refuge that cannot be shaken or broken. Just like in
ancient times where a strong tower provided protection from enemies, God
remains our safe place for hiding today. The righteous should run to Him with urgency
and intentionality as our protection is sure. We must consciously run to God
through prayer, faith, and trust. His name carries power, authority, and
covering over every situation. Remember,
His safety is not partial but it is complete. Psalm
121:7–8 reminds us that the Lord preserves our going out and coming in.
This means God’s protection covers every area of our lives which included at
home, at work, on the road, and even in unseen battles. So, when fear rises or
trouble surrounds you, don’t run to worry but run to Him for unshakable
security.
Though we cannot live without encountering
challenges but He assures us that there is a place of safety above all the
storms. Nahum 1:7 – “The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of
trouble…” This reminds us that no matter how intense the situation is,
God remains higher and stronger. When we run into Him, fear loses its grip, and
peace takes over. Therefore, no matter what you are facing today, run into God.
Let us call on His name, trust in His power, and rest in His covering. In Him,
you are hidden, secured, and preserved in Jesus’ name.

- Lord, we run into Your name today; be our refuge and our strong
tower in Jesus’ name.
- Almighty God, preserve us in all our ways and surround us with
Your protection in Jesus’ name.
Action Quote: Remember, when you run into God, you step into a place
where nothing can harm you.
