Hidden in His Name

Text: Proverbs 18:10 (KJV)
The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Friends, our safety is in the name of the Lord. In a time where fear, anxiety are common, God still invites us into a place of divine covering. His name is not just something we call; it is a place we enter which is a spiritual refuge where we are protected and preserved. Therefore, our protection requires action to run. It is not enough to know about God; we must depend on Him. Running into His name means trusting Him completely, so let’s make Him our first response, not our last option.  Hence, God’s protection is active and present. Just as Isaiah 41:10 says, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee,” and His presence will continue to surround us. When God is with you, you are never exposed as He will not leave us neither forsake us, showing that God’s presence is the foundation of our safety. When He is near, we are secure; when He covers us, we are preserved.

Interestingly, being safe does not mean the absence of challenges, but the assurance that nothing can overcome you. God’s name is higher than every problem, stronger than every fear, and greater than every opposition. Psalm 27:1 – “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” Therefore, make it a daily habit to run into God. Speak His name, trust His promises, and remain under His covering. No matter what comes your way, you are hidden and secured in Him in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Points:

  1. Lord, help us to trust in Your name and run to You in every situation in Jesus’ name.
  2. Heavenly Father, hide us under Your covering and keep us safe from every evil in Jesus’ name.

Action Quote: Remember, God’s name is your hiding place, so run into it and you will always be safe.
