Text: Hebrews 4:15 (KJV)
“For we have not an high priest
which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all
points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
Friends, one of the most comforting truths about
Jesus is that He understands. He is not distant, cold, or unaware of what we go
through. Jesus lived on earth, experienced pain, rejection, hunger, betrayal,
and deep sorrow. Because of this, He does not just see your struggles but He
feels them with you. So, where people
may overlook our pain or misunderstand our struggles, Jesus remains deeply
touched by everything we go through. He is not distant or unaware; He feels our
weaknesses and knows our battles. His sympathy is not just emotional but it is
personal and powerful. 1 Peter 5:7 - Casting
all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Jesus experienced
life on earth, facing rejection, pain, temptation, and sorrow. This means there
is nothing you are facing today that He cannot relate to. Therefore, our
confidence in Him should grow stronger because He knows exactly what we need. So,
our coming to Him is not a sign of weakness, but an act of faith. When we open
our hearts to Him, we receive grace, strength, and help in times of need.
Interestingly, Jesus’ sympathy does not remove us
from challenges, but it assures us that we are never alone in them. Just as Matthew 11:28 says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour
and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest,” He invites us to
lay our burdens on Him. His presence brings comfort, His understanding brings
peace, and His love sustains us through every situation. Therefore, make it a
daily habit to draw near to Jesus. Talk to Him, trust Him, and lean on His
understanding heart. So, no matter how heavy your burden feels, He cares deeply
for you and will carry you through in Jesus’ name.
Prayer Points:
- Lord Jesus, thank You for understanding our struggles; help us to
always come to You with confidence in Jesus’ name.
- Heavenly Father, strengthen us in our weaknesses and remind us
that we are never alone in Jesus’ name.
Action Quote: Remember, Jesus understands your pain, so bring
everything to Him, and you will always find help and comfort.
