Text: Exodus 33:14 (KJV)
My presence will go
with you, and I will give you rest
Friends, it is important we learn how to connect
with God consistently for a journey of peace, divine guidance, wholeness and
healing. Yes, we need to set aside time to be with God, daily. This helps us to
engage an intimacy with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is not time to
just talk and make our request rather become sensitive to His presence and direction.
Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy
presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Therefore, we have to find rest and
refreshing moments which is the antidote that restores our mind, body, and
spirit. Hence, going in His presence is not just a place you go, but a posture
of heart and mind. We can start by a conversation, a worship, bible
reading and meditation on God’s word, daily. Matthew
11:28-30 - Come unto me, all ye
that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take
my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye
shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Interestingly, it is by going in His presence
that we enjoy unending peace in the midst of chaos in any kind of pressure be it
social, academic, digital, emotional, spiritual or even financial pressures. In
so doing, as we sit with God all the pressures fade away. Psalm 145:18 - The
Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.
Yes, life choices become clearer in His presence that brings about progress on
every side. James 4:8 - Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. I
encourage us to remain with God as it opens our hearts of who you and why you
exist on earth. And God will walk and work with us at all times in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, help us to seek You intentionally, listen to Your voice as a
lifestyle, and allow Your peace and joy to fill our hearts in
Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, going in His presence is not just a spiritual
exercise rather a lifeline to unburden our hearts.
