Build a foundation that last

   

Text: Psalm 127:1(NKJV)

Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.

Friends, it is clear from the scripture above that all human effort without God’s guidance is ultimately fruitless. Yes, no matter what you are building either a career, a family, a ministry, or personal goals, business, success is only guaranteed when God is at the center of it all. Hence, don’t waste your effort building without His involvement. Hmmmm! So, no matter how vigilant we are, without His guarding, we remain vulnerable to dangers and it is applicable to any area of our lives. Proverbs 16:3 - Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established. Don’t spend your life building and forget the crucial factor which is God’s at the foundation. We may plan, strategize, and labour hard, but if God is not at the center of our efforts, it will be meaningless. So, let’s invite God into every plan, every decision, every step of life, today. John 15:5 - I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Today, we can see that many people work tirelessly, planning, striving, and sacrificing, but if God is not involved, their efforts can result in stress, frustration, failure, or emptiness. Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. On the other hand, inviting God into every plan ensures divine favour and success at last. I pray we shall never try to build without consulting the originator of the plan who is God almighty in Jesus name.
