Text: Lamentations
3:22-23(KJV)
It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his
compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Friends, Nigeria stands today not
merely because of strategy, governance, or human wisdom, but because the
mercy of God continues to uphold her. In seasons of uncertainty, unrest, and national shaking and
killings, the hand of the Lord has not withdrawn. God can still show us mercy
if only we humble ourselves and ask for mercy, today. Psalm
86:5 For thou, Lord, art good, and
ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. Yes, His mercy speaks where judgment could have
spoken. Also, His mercy preserves where chaos could have prevailed. His mercy
sustains where strength has failed us. Father show us mercy. By mercy, God can
still raise leaders with wisdom after His heart and purpose. Hence, God’s
mercy has prevented total collapse. And His compassion has been our invisible
shield, sustaining millions through storms seen and unseen in our country. Psalm 102:13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for
the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
We desire God’s mercy that rebuilds ruins,
restores hope, calm storms in this time of confusion. Friends, when we cry as a
nation for mercy, God responds with healing, favour, and supernatural
intervention. Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose
God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Nigeria is facing and is a pit of challenges, but mercy is stronger
than the noise of darkness. May God’s Mercy become louder than injustice,
as mercy is deeper than corruption which has ravaged our nation. I pray,
because God is rich in mercy, Nigeria will see light again in every area of our
national struggles and particularly our youths, teenagers, and students in
Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
Lord, have mercy on Nigeria suddenly and
let Your mercy speak over judgment as we ask for divine healing in our land in
Jesus name
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, mercy can restore peace, unity, and righteousness in Nigeria.
