Corinthians 10:4 (KJV)
For the weapons of
our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of
strong holds.
Friends, there are battle beyond the physical
which takes place in the realm of the supernatural. As believers, we all pass
through battles but they are not physical that is why we cannot use our carnal
mind to fight such battles rather we should engage the weapons of our God as
they are mighty to save and to deliver. Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and
scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means
hurt you. So, these weapons are not against flesh and blood but
against spiritual forces, deceptive thoughts, and mental barriers that exalt
themselves against the knowledge of God. We should not allow the enemy to take
hold of our minds but identify the stronghold which can be unique to
individuals. Hence, we use spiritual weapons to tear down strongholds and
reclaim our freedom. Eph 6:10-12 Finally, my
brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the
whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the
devil.
Amazingly, these barriers can take the
form of fear, unbelief, pride, addiction, or negative thinking patterns that
keep one bound. But, we must allow God to lead us as we journey in life. Col.2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he
made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Therefore,
the weapon to pull them down is not in physical strength, but spiritual
authority through God’s Word, prayer, and obedience as He make a show of them
all openly. I pray we shall not allow the enemy to take hold of our minds with
lies but renew our minds daily by His weapon in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, transform our minds for a victorious living by building our
faith through the weapon of God’s word in Jesus name.
ACTION
QUOTE: Remember to pull down stronghold of fear opposing the truth of God’s
word.
