Text: Mathew 25:21(KJV)
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and
faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee
ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord
Friends, we are loaded with lessons from the story on the parable
of the talents. One major lesson is the act of faithful stewardship with the
little or much given to us. It is a gift from God and we are to serve with it,
invest it and impact to lives at to yield result for greater milestones. Eccl. 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might: for there
is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou
goest. So,
let’s empty our gifts here on earth in service to God and humanity. The master is coming to reward diligence as he said
weldone, thou good and faithful servant. He saw faithfulness on the few and
that brought about making him ruler over many. There is still new territory to
occupy if we can serve as unto God, we shall move to the next level. Yes, there is a realm of joy and rejoicing
which comes to us as a gain and profit to faithful service.
Amazingly, there is a day of reckoning in the resources given to
you. So, we must learn to invest it as to multiply that ability from the Lord. James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down
from the Father of lights with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of
turning.
He has given you a good and perfect gift because His light is on it. There is
no need for excuses like the third servant who was given one talent rather we should
trade with our resources for gain. Hence, that gift, talent, resource God has
entrusted into your hand, we must learn to manage it well. I pray we shall work
to be accountable to God in all our endeavors in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Father,
help me to be faithful in using God’s resources entrusted in my custody for
gain and proper accountability in Jesus name.
