ANCHOR IN GOD

 

 

Congratulations, HAPPY NEW MONTH OF JUNE

Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil

Friends, the word anchor reminds us literally of the boat being anchored by a sailor. It is a heavy metal attached like rope or chain but dropped into the water that keep the vessel. This is what gives him confident that the ship or boat is safe. Hence, the wind or the current cannot drift the boat.  So, as believers we must learn to anchor ourselves in God as to keep us steady and secured no matter the storm of life. Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is anchored on You, because he trusts You. We can anchor our thoughts, our emotions and our soul as to enjoy peace on every side because He is trustworthy.

Graciously, this is a major essentials of the moment as we journey through the month of June. Remember, the rough tempest should not move us because we are safe in God. He is mightier and heavier than whatever challenge ahead of you. Let’s build our shelter and dwell under His canopy for protection.  Psalm 46:1-2 God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in trouble. So we will not fear, even if the earth shakes and the mountains crash into the sea. So, let’s remain firm in the truth of God’s word as it is a sure anchor that keeps stable and unshakable in the phase of challenge. I pray we shall not crash because our hope is in Christ in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Father, help us to stay rooted in Him even though there are unpredictable dangers ahead, God is still our anchor in Jesus name.
