Transformation through light

 

 

Text: 2 Corinthians 4:6(KJV)                                                

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Friends, the source of our light is God. Therefore, for us to experience true light it must be transfused from God who is the originator of illumination. So, wherever there is clarity and direction, it must come from God that is why the lasting change that can happen to us must come through the source. Remember, He spoke light into the dark world and there was light Genesis 1:2-3 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And, today the transformation that we need can also come through His word that penetrates into our hearts to shine and cause a transformation that is evident in our lives. So, let the hidden attributes and habits experience the transformation power of the light of His word now. He changes us by renewing our thinking and breaking the stronghold over our lives.

Graciously, it is His word that lightens our life that brings about conviction and the healing that we see which can be physical or spiritual.  Remember, the light that we receive does not just reveal God but transforms our hardened heart that makes us to embrace the new. 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. By so doing, the nature and image of Christ is formed into us. Hence, we must continue in this process of beholding the word for transformation that takes place as we walk with the word of light that brings inside and outside changes today in Jesus name.

1. Father, make your light uncover and shape the destiny of this generation for a transformative outcome in Jesus name.
