The thunderous WORD of God

 

 

Text: Psalm 29:3-4(KJV)                                                   

The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty

Friends, we should not treat the word of God with levity because it is not weak rather it is powerful with extreme authority to overpower obstacles.  God speaks with a voice that cannot be intimidated as the impact cannot be hidden.  His voice echoes like a thunders which is commanding and irresistible but shakes off the storm. Jere 23:29  Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? It has the power to create, transform and heal all manner of infirmities as it generates faith to the capacity of God. So, you cannot hear God and claim that you heard man. His voice is loud with authority that cannot be swallowed by any form of challenge.  Whenever He speaks, situations bow to His glory. Yet, He speaks in the floods of life as He utters his voice and the earth melts which makes His voice to bring desolation upon the earth. Remember, it is His voice that makes wars to cease by the thundering force of His word. So, let us go for the voice of the Lord as it rebukes heavy burdens and takes away fears and doubts today.

Interestingly, when the voice of God comes, it breaks the cedar of the strong hold of the enemy. Hence, it awaken and stirs up new spiritual fire as we listen to thunder voice of His word. Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hence, death is rolled away by the thunder force of God’s word. Yes, it shakes and shapes the heavens and the earth to the form of His agenda.  Howbeit, stubborn situations bow at the voice of the Lord. So, let’s attend to His voice today and we shall experience the thunder of His word as it penetrates long lasting cases in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

 Father, make your majestic and terrifying voice to be heard in the difficult moments of my life that will melt every noise of the enemy in Jesus name.
