Shine to the end

                                        

Text: Philippians 2:15(KJV)                                              

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world

Friends, we see and observe several issues of concern in this perverse nation. But, as believers we are not to shine for a season but to the end. We shall remain blameless and harmless in the midst of the crooked world because our light. Yes, in every environment of darkness, we are to still shine as to subdue darkness because we are in Christ reflecting His nature of light.  Even though the world is growing darker but as Christians we should continue to shine brighter in all aspects of life. So, we should not allow darkness to overwhelm us rather we should illuminate our society with light as we are the light of world as a city set on a hill that cannot be dim. Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.  Then, we can leave a legacy of light into our world if we can introduce Jesus to lighten the world.

Amazingly, the Jesus we carry is light and we must allow Him to shine through our endeavors as we journey in our purpose today. Remember, there is no darkness with Him at all. John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. Therefore, we have to wake up and not sit down in silent to shine rather arise and shine even in the midst of gross darkness. Hence, we should not be careless with the noise of darkness before it over shadows our light. I pray our light shall shine to the end of the age in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Father, make us to be like stars that shine in the night as to enjoy peace in the surroundings in Jesus name.
