God’s word as a light to my feet

 

Text: Psalm 119:105(NKJV)        

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path

Friends, we all need light to direct our path in destiny. But, there is an illumination that influences every area of our lives. So, the greatest of them all is this word of life which is the Holy Bible. Hence, God’s word come to us as a light that gives clarity to our journey in purpose. If you have ever worked in darkness, you will understand the difference in walking with light and walking in darkness. It is a risk to walk in darkness that even you cannot sight the features of your body talkless of other objects. Prov 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp: and the law is light; and reproof of instruction are the way of life.

Graciously, with the guidance of the word of God, we can see clearly, as it comes to us as a reproof. We can no longer stumble with life that makes our future unsure even our tomorrow. Psalm 19:8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. Therefore, with the word of God, our eyes can see pure and clear so we can take the right and prompt step to action because there is joy from our heart. The word of God is not just an information but an illumination to our pathway to avoid confusion. The word is the vision to our journey in destiny. So, let us read, study, meditate and apply the word daily for our comfort. I pray this word shall continue to be our steady compass that guides us in Jesus name.

1.      Oh Lord, reveal the whole road of our destiny by your word and lead us into the path of life and peace in Jesus name.
