Why seek the living among the dead?

 

 

Happy Easter

Text: Luke 24:5-6 (KJV)                                                     

And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?  He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee

Congratulations and Happy Easter. Friends, we are in the post resurrection era and therefore we must walk according to purpose and not in the past. Unfortunately, many things we are dealing with are things that we have victory over. If I may ask, where are we in the plan of God concerning of our lives? Are we in the place of His prophesy or outside? Mathew 28:6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Yes, it was the angel that made the statement to the women who seek to anoint His body in the grave. Hence, we must depart where Christ has departed because He is walking according the system of life with heavenly mandate. Therefore, we must learn to align with the plan of God for the moment. But, many are still on the old. Remaining where Christ has given you dominion over.

Most often, we are not in His current agenda which makes us to suffer out of His will. The scripture says Jesus is risen, He is not here, but they came bringing their spices which they prepared to anoint Him. But, they found the stone rolled away and they entered and found not the body of Jesus.  Beloved, He is not in the grave, so you are out of that empty and dead state, but many are still seeking Him amongst the dead. The tomb is empty as there is an empty grave to show that is He is risen. Friends, God cannot lie even concerning your case. He is more than faithful if only we can remember the word of God that has gone ahead over our destiny and seek Him in prayers.

Amazingly, if we seek Him we shall find Him if only we can seek Him according to His word. There is a place of His appearance which must be according to prophesy and not based on our situation. Luke 9:22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. If He has said it, it shall certainly come to pass. Our duty is to believe and not help God because He has all that it takes to bring to pass the fulfillment of His plan over our destiny today. But, I pray we shall yield to His plan and not to presume living in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Father, I pray we shall no longer turn to the old habits rather switch to the presence of the living hope for the fulfillment of prophesy in Jesus name.
