Living in the Resurrection

 

 

Text: Romans 6:4 (KJV)                                                     

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life

Friends, we are still in our post resurrection season and it shall not end as a fantasy rather a practical reality that we must live with as individuals. Yes, it is a long life experience that we must remain with as believers and not an event of ceremony that shall come to pass. Hence, living in the resurrection is an invitation into a new life. It is bringing us to a life honour and beauty that influences the total man. However, every day is your resurrection day without any form of shame, failure, fear, doubt, sickness etc, as we are now in a life of glory. So, the old me is buried for my new life to shine forth forever. Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. So, I encourage us to live daily in this experience and not in just the knowledge encounters.

Interestingly, it is a living reality that changes the life of an individual in every area of life endeavours. Remember, the resurrection power defeated every force of the grave, sin and death which lives us with a life of daily freedom and victory over the storms of life. 1 Cor. 6:14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. Greatly, He is not done with us as He is moving us from glory to glory with tangible evidence. And this is possible as we are empowered daily by the help of the Holy Spirit and the revelation of His word in Jesus name.

1. Oh Lord, may we live a transformed identity with a renewed mindset in decisions in Jesus name.
