No excuse with divine agenda

 

Text: Ruth 1:12(KJV)

Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons. Would you tarry for them till they were grown?

Friends, we go through life challenges that makes us see impossibilities based on the current. Yes, we can see that Naomi’s decision to return back to her nativity was in a state of hopelessness expressed in the scripture above. But, we must remember that God’s plan and purpose is beyond human comprehension despite the status.  Remember, God’s still uses men as part of his plan to fulfill His divine program. Hence, Naomi was making excuses to the daughters in law not to go with her without knowing God’s plan. She saw them pointless and unfruitful following her.  In that, there is yet no more sons in her womb that may be their husbands. Also Jeremiah also made excuses that he cannot speak according Jere 1:6- 7 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.  But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Let’s relax, God will strengthen and equip us in that divine agenda at the set time.

Amazingly, Naomi saw herself too old to have a husband, and even if she has one tonight can she born and they wait for them grow to become their husbands? To the extent, she was grieved by her state of hopelessness that the hand of the Lord is gone out against her. Meanwhile, when they got to the city, all the people were moved to call her Naomi but she said, call me Mara; for the almighty had dealt very bitterly with her. Seeing, she went out full and came back home empty without knowing there is a divine agenda that will give her a seed at this old age that will be a restorer of lives. Mathew 1:5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse. Today, we can see her in the genealogy of Jesus by divine agenda. I pray we shall not disqualify ourselves when God calls us in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.       I pray we shall not find ourselves making excuses against following the plan of God that will bring to pass His divine purpose in our lives today in Jesus name.

2.      Oh Lord, send me my Ruth that will refuse to turn back even when I am hopeless without seeing the agenda of God in destiny in Jesus name
