The Mind of Christ.

 

Text: Philippians 2:5-6 (KJV)

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Friends, the mind is a battle field and it is important we guide our minds because out of it are the issues of life. We need to follow the example of Christ as we walk with His steps today. Yes, as humans we are constantly being influenced by what we see, hear or experience. But a mind of Christ is influenced by attitude, our choices and our decision by His leading. Therefore, imagine your mind and thought being influenced by that of Jesus like the scripture has prescribed above. We can be rest assured of good fruits. 1 Cori.  2:16  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ. So, as we think like Christ it makes us to value other people’s interest as the old nature is exchanged with a new mind.

Interestingly, we can only think like Jesus if we walk with Jesus by reading, meditating and studying the word which shapes our minds. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. And today, God will transform our minds by His pure word of life. Hence, it gives us power to become even from our actions and responds to life which is being influenced by the wisdom of God, love of God and humility that made Jesus humble himself and became obedient to the death on the cross. At the end He was highly exalted and given a name above every other name. I pray our minds shall not be filled with the world system rather with His word for a positive outcome in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Father, help us to live a selfless life from our minds with the desire to please and do the will of God daily in Jesus name.
