Text: Daniel 6:27-28 (KJV)
He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in
heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. So
this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the
Persian.
Friends, as believers, whenever we get trapped and heavy with
burdens, we must not lose our confidence rather walk with assurance that He
delivers and rescues. Hence, His deliverance is sure no matter the challenges
of our time because we have a God that changes the times and season. He is our deliverer indeed. He hears our
secret cries and struggles. He has delivered in the times past and He is still
on duty today like the deliverance with the children of Isreal from slavery.
Daniel’s deliverance from the lion’s den and many others like Peter, Paul and
Silas from the prison. Daniel 2:21 And He changeth the times and the seasons: he
removeth kings and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and
knowledge to them that know understanding. Yes, the deep and secret
things can be revealed by God as he brings them to light. God does mighty
things even in deliverance to mankind because His outstretch hands rescues us
from any form of danger. He is great and mighty in battle no matter how fierce
it is. Hence, we should not faint because He will not deliver us into the hand
of our enemies, no matter how many that rise up against us. Always remember,
His deliverance can come instant or other times He allows us to go through
challenges as to strengthen our faith in Him. But, in any situation God remains
faithful. Psalm 34:17 The
righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all
their troubles.
Amazingly, we must build up courage in God as we get strengthened
in our heart daily as a way to live in this challenging world. The challenges
and obstacles notwithstanding, God will still deliver us even when the furnace of
fire is heated 7 times over. Remember, He will not live us nor forsake us in
the journey of turbulence in life. Even when the enemy encamp against us in
their host, we shall not fear nor stumble because He has assured us in the time
of trouble he shall hide us in his pavilion for He is our refuge and our
fortress at all times. Psalm 40:2 He brought me up also
out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon the rock,
and established my goings. I encourage us to trust God in any trial as He
will surely set us free in all situations in Jesus name.

your unlimited power of deliverance today, deliver us from sin, temptation and
