Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.

Friends, we need to understand that life is a journey that takes us either forward or backward.  Yes, certain times we meet obstacles, setbacks, life challenges, moments of uncertainty, but God never desire us to settle down at a fixed point. Hence, God is calling us to press for more – more of His spiritual virtue as we abide in His presence, more cognitive growth by our intellectual height, more opportunities which takes us to more purposeful life of power. They are all possible as we pant after the Lord. Psalm 42:1 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God

Amazingly, there is an intense call for us to move forward in life which is applicable to all in areas of our lives. Proverbs 4:18 The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day." We have need for uplift our goals as a life style. We cannot stand still rather the scripture above encourages us to move forward despite the storms and failure in life. So, wake up and tell yourself “I AM MOVING AHEAD, NO LOOKING BACK”. Hence, no matter your present situation, God still has more in stock for you. Though, the enemy is pressing daily to keep you at the same spot, but let’s learn from Jesus as He withdraws to seek more of God’s guidance and that what help Him to move upward ever. And it shall be so for us today in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Father, help us to stay connected in prayer as to subdue the weakness of counting on the past glory in Jesus name.
