Text: Isaiah
40: 28-31 (KJV)
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the
everlasting God, the Lord,
the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is
no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to
the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Friends, there is a concern from the scripture above that we as human
and many other things can fail and even get weary, but the good news is that in
the midst of all the challenges, God gives us an inner hope in that, He will
increase our might whenever our energy level is low. Therefore, we must acknowledge that our
strength in the journey ahead comes from the Lord who made heaven and
earth. Psalm 73:26: "My flesh
and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion
forever . We should build our confidence on the creator of the
universe rather than on the mountains which can disappoint you at any time you
cannot imagine. There is need therefore for our knowledge to open up for a
search of whom God is. So, whenever, we
want to give up, let’s learn to run to the source of power who has the capacity
to increase our inner strength and vitality inspite of the difficult moments in
the society.
Interestingly, our responsibility is to wait on the Lord that
is what brings about renewal of energy which can come in the place of prayer
and fasting etc. John
5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I
judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will
of the Father which hath sent me. Hence, we begin to build back and mount up wings again like
the eagles. Indeed, His ways are past finding out, let’s trust and hope on God
even in that current pain. Remember, we
can run, walk and fly again without fainting in that same situation that has
brought discouragement to us only if we can depend on the might of the spirit
of God today in Jesus name
PRAYER POINT:
Father increase my might in the midst of the storm so that my
strength will not fail in Jesus name
Action Quote:
Friends, let’s be strong in our faith in Lord at
all times.
