God is on your side, fear not

 

Text: Romans 8:31 (KJV)

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us.

Friends, as human we occasionally ask ourselves this, who is against me? We even imagine and think of situations that are working against us. But remember, if God be for us no man, no woman, no boy or girl that can harm you as we hide ourselves under his covering. So, we should not live with heaviness of heart rather cheer up. And I believe the majority of us must have thought of that, and we end up either panicking, being anxious, or worrying. According to, Psalms 118:6- The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do for me?

Interestingly, there is no harm in having that thought, but we should not allow that to depress us because the good news is that GOD IS FOR YOU even in that current situation. The truth is, thinking about who is against you makes no difference for you if you dwell on the scripture above. The point of you dwelling on the text above makes you have so much assurance because you know that God is on your side, and you have nothing to fear or lose. Psalms 27:1- The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? But remember, whoever is trying to be against you, is just trying to be against God and we can be assured that they will not succeed in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.      Father, every threat against my confidence in God shall be swallowed by Your weight of glory in Jesus name.
