The outpour of common grace

 

Text: Genesis 6:8

And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Friends, let’s be sensitive not to ride on the controversies that are flying around the kingdom and the truth of the word of God. God’s kindness is still available. And, Grace is like a philanthropic gifts given to you from heaven. There is a common grace available to us in Christ Jesus. But, until it is revealed to us, we will not enjoy the benefits. There is an outpour of grace which is underserved, unearned and unmerited level of life. It is entirely His effort and His doing. 2 Cori 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me" It is a blessing that is available to everyone. Hence, some have the general part and others have the special part of grace by reason of our salvation experience with Jesus. That is to say that common grace is available to everyone without discrimination. This common grace gives order to life in spite of our sin nature as a result of curse.

Amazingly, God by His common grace, has allowed the sun to shine on every person and not by merit. We are in no wise better than others but grace has proved us even when we are under sin. Hebrew 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. And it is grace and grace alone that can radically bless and transform a man from zero to hero. Yes, despite all the strategies, techniques, tactics and methodologies to achieve success, man is still limited in life. Remember, all our self-efforts cannot take us too far to a realm of effortless and wholeness success. Therefore, let’s not rely on self-help, because we all have opportunity for direct access to God’s kind of help today. I pray we shall not miss it in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Father, may the earth yield its fruits of abundance, despite the thorns and storms of life because your grace is forever sufficient in Jesus name.
