Made in His Likeness.

 

Text: Genesis 1:27 (KJV)

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

Friends, you are God’s own with His customized template, nothing less of his personality by intension. Hence, there is an original sample and image you are made from. It is a piece from the original source and nothing can cut you off. Remember, it is His love that made us and not ourselves that is why He will continue to uphold us as His own. Genesis 5:2 Male and female created he them and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. The masterpiece which you are created from is God himself, that is, why we carry his character, and his style of doing things inside of us. He poured his content into you as His portrait with His image and likeness.  There is a fruitful and multiplying content of God in man, so we must yield the seed of His meat. Remember, we cannot disconnect from him and still operate in his image and likeness.

Amazingly, according to Psalms 82:6- “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most high”. So, let God resemblance show as we portray His quality in choice and decisions. Let’s learn to be responsible and reflect creativity that we are made of. We have been called gods and we must take charge as rulers and dominate the kingdom for God. Remember, God’s gene is in us and I pray we shall express His kind in Jesus name.

1)      Father, may God’s residual nature in us make us live upright as His representative here on earth that will influence our world for good in Jesus name
