Safeguard your savor

 

Text: Matt 5:13 (KJV)

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Friends, there is sweetness in you that you must preserve because you are wired from the word go, for greatness. However, you are tasteful with fragrance to bring value, so do all to preserve your worth. If you have ever eaten a meal without salt, you will realize how tasteless it is without an aroma that will bring about attraction. Salt is our flavouring, purification and preservation agent which when it loses its taste, it is no longer useful. Hence, let’s keep the taste in us that makes you to keep yourself seasoned at all times with relevant knowledge. Col 4:6- Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. And, your taste starts from right words as to know how to answer any man in your conversation.

Amazingly, saltlessness is what makes one not valuable, so continue to add value and worth to yourself by building up yourself with relevant stuffs like the Word of God which purges us to right living. Remember, salt, when not in use cannot be appreciated and that makes it good-for-nothing. So, don’t bottle up yourself, you are good with natural value that the world is waiting for your manifestation today. Phil.2:15 So that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine as lights in the world.  I pray we shall flavour our environment with light that will swallow unwanted characters in this generation in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. May the Lord keep us safe from being polluted by the world system that has become toxic to the society in Jesus name.
