By Grace, not your works

Text: Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast"

Friends, we live in an unearned platform as they are freely given to us in this kingdom. Grace is not a doctrine but a person. And the person is Jesus. So, the more abundant of Jesus in you, the more the grace of God we enjoy, which is accessible to everyone. Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.  All we need is a regenerated soul as the criteria for this free experience.  Unfortunately, man by his pride and arrogance nature has rejected this gospel of grace, and has despised the riches of God’s grace with its countless gain.

Interestingly, unwavering heart for God is what brings us to a realm of abundance of grace and peace which is the abundance of Jesus. John 1:17. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Jesus is the epitome of this grace and so is truth and grace was given by Him. Remember, law is on the side of Moses, but truth and grace is on the side of our saviour, Jesus Christ. Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. It is grace that gives you strength to stand and say no to sin even under pressure, so let’s work in confidence by the side of grace and not by works. So, as we receive more grace, we express more dominion over sin. Hence, God is reaching out to us by His love and grace that brings about His saving grace to humanity. I pray for fervent revelation of the person of grace which is the good news we need to overcome every challenge in life and destiny in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.      Father, I pray where we deserve judgment by disobedience, may you show up by your grace in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, as we turn to God, we encounter greater and more grace.
