Text: Psalm 126:5-6(KJV)
5 They that sow in tears
shall reap in joy.6 He that goeth forth and weepeth,
bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his
sheaves with him.
Friends, there is a seed of celebration in that agony, so
don’t bow in shame. Do not consider the
present pain and pressure rather see beyond the storm. We should not allow the
negative circumstance to get us more depressed because there is joy at the end
of the tunnel. Yes, that we are starting
the day in tears, does not determine the end point. Even if you are currently in a state of
dismay, remember it is germinating precious seed at last because there is full
assurance that at the end it will speak only if we do not give up but stand
firm on the promise of God. Hebrew12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and
finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame,
and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
It is in the process
time many go for the alternative solution, doubt, walk into faithlessness and
even frustration but decide to cheer up because joy like a river is flowing to
your direction today.
Amazingly, the scripture today is encouraging us to be doubtless
but come with rejoicing that brings us into celebration and dancing. Unfortunately,
they
weep as they go to plant their seed, but the good news is that they will sing in
return with their harvest because that was the weeping seed of Joy. Remember, the glory of the day is
walking out of thick darkness and gradually brightens up into a shining light,
and so shall we arise and shine too. Psalm 30:11 Thou hast turned for me
my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with
gladness. Therefore, see
those tears as the seed that will yield the fruit of joy in a short while
because God is turning again our captivity into dancing and celebration in
Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1.Oh Lord
may the river of Joy flow to our direction as we return again with shouts of celebration
by reason of the bountiful harvest in this same season in Jesus name.
