Text: Mark 2:3-5 (KJV)
And they come unto him,
bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. 4 And
when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof
where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the
sick of the palsy lay. 5 When Jesus saw their faith, he
said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
Friends,
we have access to absolute healing by reason of our redemption package which is
a comprehensive power in the blood of Jesus. Yes, Christ has bought us over to
himself, so we are now adopted into this kingdom of divine nature. John.3:16 For God so love the world that He gave His only
begotten son and whosoever shall believe in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. Indeed, all manner of disease are set free by our
inheritance into the kingdom of God.
From the text above the paralytic man was made whole despite the crowd,
the friends were determined to bring him into the room through the roof for the
touch of God. As the friends made a hole, climbed the stairs and lowered the
paralytic man, what a determination and great faith! And we can be intentional for our healing
today.
Interestingly, we must not allow anything to stand as
a hindrance, not the roof, not even the crowd etc. therefore, we must defile all
limitations to come to Jesus. But, the
goodnews is that Jesus healing ministry is not just for physical healing rather
He has come for inside and outside healing just by being in Him. Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have
redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches
of his grace. And today, Jesus is not
just healing our bodies but He is also saving souls which affects all areas of
our lives. Remember, Jesus has a mission in your life to redeem you from all
concerns including, emotional, career, relationship, spiritual, financial etc.
I pray we shall yield to His call for redemption today in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Oh Lord, may the Lord open our hearts to receive Jesus
as He is the light that has come to offer salvation to the whole world in Jesus
name.
