We have a Make-Up God.

 

Text: Joel 2:25 (KJV)

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Friends, we have a good new this morning that gives us hope that God can make up for us as individuals and corporately too. And when God makes up for you, whatever you have lost you can gain back in multiples and hundred folds. And this is what can land you into the miraculous.  A lot of people get discouraged that they have lost all but we should remember the God of restoration is still at work today. Proverbs 6:31- But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house God will make-up or restore all, no matter the challenges we are going through today. In our text of today, we can see terms like the locust, the cankerworm, caterpillar, and palmerworm being used, which refer to delays and challenges because these insects gradually eat up leaves until there is none left, but the good news is God will restore all no matter the wasted years in Jesus name.

Although those issues of life come to delay our dreams, we must remember, God is making up for us. Jeremiah 27:22- They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the Lord; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place. So, I encourage you to have faith in God because He will not only restore (or make-up), but He will also repair, so no matter how long the delays have lasted, the story has changed today. Hallelujah!!!  I encourage you to cheer up because you have a make-up God on your side in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Oh Lord, please make-up for my areas of weaknesses as to fulfil purpose in life and enjoy my labour again in Jesus name.
