Embrace Him in gladness

 

Text: Philippians 2:29 (KJV)

Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation.

Friends, our salvation experience is a big privilege, which we must appreciate at all times. We have a great connection with God, and we should be glad to worship and celebrate the almighty. Indeed, the fact that we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, lives us with a reputation with flavoured identity, which we must express and hold fast. Psalms 122:1- I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord. In exchange for our service to God, we have received honour, and we have to be humble as develop an attitude of gladness in worship.

Amazingly, God has deposited so much in us, so we should always enter into His gate with gladness because He deserves it. Psalms 100:2- Serve the Lord with gladness, come before his presence with singing. We should just express the great joy and honour received from His Word. It is a mistake to serve God with burden and heaviness of heart, as it hinders our flow of packaged inheritance in His presence. So, let’s change our attitude rather serve God with wholeness and cheerfulness of heart. 2 Corinthians 9:7- Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. So, I urge you never to allow a low moment for a season, as it is a disposition that cannot be hidden rather make it tangible with joy. God will help us, in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:                                                   

1.Oh Lord, help us to always receive the Word of promise with hope for a perpetual gladness, in Jesus name.
