Be at your closet

Text: Matthew 6:6 (KJV)

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Friends, there is a place of your making as life has taught us that there is always a hiding place. It is a place we usually run to for safety and protection. But, we should create intimacy with Jesus as it is that corner of settlement and shelter in the time of storm. It is our high tower with divine covering that makes the enemy not to pluck us out of His hands. Psalms 91:1- He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. There is a place of our making for our open reward, so be ready to preserve your closet.

Amazingly, inspite of the battles in the world, we still have a place of safety that we can connect with God at the phase of challenge. Proverbs 18:10-The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe, Therefore, you need to have an intimate relationship with God, and that starts from the heart as to enjoy the strength and refreshing moment in the closet. You allowing Him into your heart makes Him to dwell there, and in so doing, He reveals the secrets of His Word and your purpose for living. So, we can start now to hunger and remain in the secret place of the most high for a protective shield and answers to those expectations in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.      Oh Lord, my desire is that you take me to the secret place with diverse encounters, in Jesus name.
