Flavour to taste

 

Text: Matt 5:13 (KJV)         

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Friends, in the spite of darkness and gloominess in the world as gross darkness is covering the earth, the scripture above reminds us that the Lord has sent us with a unique flavour to bring taste to the society. You are to bring brightness and light to the gentiles and to kings. So, we will not fail God. We carry salt and we should not make it inactive by just bagging it.  Salt is used to flavour, purify and preserve lives and products. Col 4:6- Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man When it loses its taste, it is no longer useful. So, don’t loss your purpose but keep your relevance as you season your skill with right words.

Amazingly, saltlessness is what makes one not valuable, so continue to add value and worth to yourself by building up yourself with relevant stuffs like the Word of God. I encourage you, don’t bottle your worth, so you do not be a good-for-nothing entity. Remember, God has spread us around the world, so that unwanted strangers and characters cannot survive around us, that is why you are the preserver of the earth in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Father, may we become agent of positive change in our society even in this phase of trials in Jesus name.
