The suffering is for a moment

 

Text: 1 Peter 5:10 (KJV)

But the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Friends, the key to go through this season is to remember that the suffering is for a moment. It is for a while. It is not for ever but for a season. So, do not loss hope. Your change season can just be the next chapter. There is Joy that is set before us, you will learn to endure the stress now, nothing last forever. There is a moment of suffering which brings forth birth of glory, not just perfection, but also establishment, strength and after that, it brings settlement. Yes, your pain of today is a ladder for your crown tomorrow, do not give up. Remember, the delays and wickedness of the enemy are brief, no matter how long they are around you.

Amazingly, there is always an expiring date for every product. In Genesis chapter one, the earth was formless and darkness was upon the face, but GOD in a short time, swallowed all the emptiness with light. And God said “LET THERE BE LIGHT”.  For JESUS, the moment of suffering and trials came to an end on the cross and He said “It is finished”. Psalms 90:4- For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. God is not late with His promises in the way we measure lateness. He is always on time but is patient with us and does not want anyone to perish; thus, what we consider as a delay is a RIGHT TIMING for Him. Do not push yourself to go ahead of His schedule because those delays may be a blessing in disguise. I pray God will help us in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1) Father, give us the grace to stand firm, so as to pass through this moment without drifting from the faith, in Jesus name.
