I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Friends, we need to strive if we must achieve the prize.  We are all on a race for greatness ahead with many on the lane. So, don’t feel arrived so you don’t miss the track for honour.  There is always excellence ahead at each point of your achievement. The more you know him, the more you encounter the prize of His high calling. The runner’s satisfaction is be able to get to the end of the race with an award. And the benchmark is Christ’s calling which is the ultimate height. We must treasure it with great value as to preserve it. His calling is not to despise us but to elevate us into a new glory

Interestingly, you can press on to identify your new area of exploits in your calling by thorough search for knowledge and wisdom.  2Timothy 4:7- I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. You can therefore move by fighting to know, from one level of mare reading the letters to revelational knowledge, then to application that brings about demonstration to reality. We must pursue to achieve by focus. We should be conscious as to arrive well with the regulations of the race to avoid being disqualified. I pray we keep our eyes on the goal for our calling is higher than the current in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT

1.       Oh Lord, may we not dwell too long on the glory of the past awards, so as to win the ultimate prize ahead, in Jesus name.
