Memory of GOODWILL

 

Text: Galatians 6:9-10 (KJV)

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

We will start with the testimony of a traveler who was coming from Jerusalem to Jericho, but was attacked by robbers. These robbers took his clothes and left him half dead. A Priest and a Levite passed, but they both avoided him, then a Samaritan saw him and had compassion on him, and brought him to an inn. Luke10:31-37

The truth about life is that we leave memories daily in the mind of people, but the question is, are these memories good or bad? Although we live in a world where doing good is taken for granted, we must still remember that being good can be an opportunity that will favour you later in life, just because you helped an innocent person. It says in 2Thessalonians3:13- But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing. This action of doing good is the core ministry of our saviour Jesus Christ, who is our role model. The amazing part is that God created these opportunities for us to sow seed, so that we can get more blessings. Friends, I tell you there is no wasted opportunity for any help you render. Acts 10:38- How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. This action also comes with many benefits, so do not miss out on it in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:                                                                                   

1.Oh Lord, help us to be selfless and compassionate like Jesus as you grant us the opportunity to help others no matter the tribe in Jesus name.
