Text: Genesis.2:7 (KJV)
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed
into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
God formed man and
breath upon man as the Holy Breath of influence. But, in our world of today, there are so many kinds
of influences; some are positive, while others are negative. The truth is that we see a lot of people
under the influence of drugs, drinking, and wrong friends, but the most
powerful influence anyone can ever experience is that of the Holy Spirit. I tell you, it is one of a kind. From
our scripture above, we can see that the Lord breathe his Spirit upon us in the
creation which is most powerful for our living and moving today. We are meant
to use this Spirit to impact others positively; it can be through our behavior
and reaction to the things we do in our lives and the lives of others.
Interestingly, this Holy Spirit is actually
our strength as Christians, and it is by this Spirit that we can live the expected
lifestyle as a Christians. The Holy Spirit is so amazing, and it makes great
impact by influencing our minds into doing the right things, and He purifies
our thoughts from evil. John 3:6- That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that
which is born of the Spirit is Spirit.I tell you, the difference
between a believer and an unbeliever is the presence of the Holy Spirit, and we
are meant to utilize His influence for our daily living. For us to enjoy Him to
the fullest, we need to have a revelation of His personality. And God will help
and teach us His way in Jesus name.
PRAYER
POINT:
1. Father, please open our eyes to the leading of
the Spirit of God at all times, so as to bear the fruits of righteousness, in
Jesus name.
