Text: Isaiah 60:2 (KJV)
For,
behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but
the Lord shall
arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
The
time we are in now is a very sensitive moment in the life of a believer,
because there is a lot of darkness, frustration, distress, false worship, and
confusion, and also people are going for alternatives to get their needs met,
but our assurance as children of God is that the light of God will still shine
no matter the gross darkness. I know that it can be difficult to stay rooted in
Him when there is a lot of fast alternatives around, but whenever you feel this
way, always remember God’s hand in your life in the past as you recall the past
victories which came not by your strength. Psalms 77:11 (GNT) - I will
remember your great deeds, LORD; I will recall the wonders you did in the past. Yes
the battles are fierce but the same God great and mighty is in the midst of the
storm.
Interestingly, we must remember to be
strong and to be of good courage in a time like this. It says in Joshua 1:6-Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people
shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers
to give them Remember, our God has
a covenant with our fathers, so allow His glory to shine in that moment of
darkness in Jesus name
PRAYER
POINT:
1. Oh
Lord, please give me the grace to remain bold and confident in my belief no
matter the current happenings in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Friends, engrave your
hope in God and the darkness shall be subdued.
