Cheer up, God Visits

 

Text: Psalms 8:4 (KJV)

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Friends, remember we feel relieved and excited when visited by a loved one. But God’s visit does not just end in excitement but lives with an unforgettable experience. God has made so much beautiful creatures in heaven and in earth, but God chooses to be mindful of you. That means YOU ARE SPECIAL. Wow!!!!! Wonderful. I know majority or some of us will ask next: why is God mindful and even visits me despite all of His beautiful creation? Why is He bother about me? I am just a mortal man which is like a puff of air, yet He still notices me. The bible reminds us that He sees something in us that we do not see. Romans 8:29a (NLT) - For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son.That is what distinguishes us from all from those beautiful creation. The shocking part is that He has been mindful of you even before you were conceived in your mother’s womb. Jeremiah 1:5- Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.Isn’t that a great privilege? Now that you know this, all your worries and sleepless nights should disappear instantly because He always has you in mind so will certainly visit you.

The fact that God is mindful of us also means that He has come down to visit us and this means that our story has changed. Genesis 21:1-2- And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.When God visits, it is always to do us good that is why He draw near to us. The truth is that God visits the people that He loves; so I urge you to humble yourself, so as to accept His love and visitation. Always remember He is planning and thinking about you and He is always with you despite your situation (either good or bad), so be ready for His visitation and never forget YOU ARE SPECIAL to Him. Hallelujah!!!!
