Noised by His Spirit

Text: Acts2:4 (KJV)

⁴ And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

One of the benefits of the Pentecost is the outpour of the Holy Ghost in the upper room. As Jesus had promised that after his departure, that they would receive power after the Holy Ghost will come upon them. If you have ever realized, the disciples were in one accord that means they had oneness of heart, none of them were distracted,but triggered the heavens to open. As the heaven opened, cloven tongues of fire sat on each one of them. Reading furthermore in our scripture, we see that the utterance released from heaven was so heavy that even the multitude were confused and that means it was a unique experience. Acts 2:6-Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.So I tell you, my fellow brethren, we can also activate this new level with the Holy Spirit. It is time we begin to speak with new tongues and this can only be achieve by us having diverse encounters with the Holy Spirit.

Amazingly, Ezekiel 47:4- Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.The truth is we are not meant to remain in the same position; instead, we are meant to have a progression and this is what God is expecting from us. There are levels we must step up to and we need to place a demand by praying for the power to fill us up. We must remember, this experience we are encounteringis not only for us, it is meant to overflow to others. And by so doing, it will bring people to His beautiful kingdom as we start today to swim in the realm of the outpour of this power.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, please baptize us afresh with your Spirit for a free flow of your move in our midst, in Jesus name.

2. Oh Lord, overshadow us by a sudden mighty wind of your appearance even now, in Jesus name.
