Text: Proverbs 24:16 (KJV)
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up
again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
Do you still remember that you are a righteous vessel?
I wonder what you response is. I really hope you still remember because Christ
has imputed His righteous in us and it is not meant to be kept dormant, but
instead, it is meant to be used in all circumstances. Our text of today tells
us a lot about what the righteous enjoy and I hope you and I can be called
righteous. The good news is that whatever has made us to be exempted from those
called righteous or has made us to miss those benefits, due to fact that we can
confess our sins to Him now, they are written off. Colossians 2:14- Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was
against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to
his cross. Many
at times, we go through several temptations, but we have been taught before
that you been tempt is not bad thing and also you falling into temptations is
not bad, but when you stay in that temptation is where the problem is. We
should always remember to return quickly to the Lord whenever we go astray from
Him and also remember His arms are wide up to accepted us.
The truth is since we are still in this world and born out of
it, there will be imperfections, but the good news is you allowing God, the
potter makes Him to work on those imperfections and remember He still loves you
despite all of that. Romans
5:8- But God commendeth his love toward us, in
that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. We must also remember, no one can
exempt us from the benefits of the righteous only we can do that, and I pray we
will not exempt ourselves from those benefits, in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, may my hope of living as a righteous person not be
cut off, in Jesus name.
2. Father, may the righteousness in Christ exalt us as individuals
and as a nation as we put on the new man and put off the old man, in Jesus
name.
Action Quote:
Remember, despite the number of times you have
fallen, you CAN and WILL still rise again.
