The Great Weapon.

 

Text: Revelation 12:11 (KJV)

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Our scripture of today reminds us that the blood of Jesus is powerful and it can save, heal, and can also deliver us from any form of darkness. Though we have a sinful nature as we were conceived in sin, but His blood is our final weapon for victory. Beloved, we can be sin free in 2022 as it is part of the finished work on the cross.  This blood is so unique and I tell you, there is no power or wilderness that can stand in contrast to it, but instead, they bow to this blood. Romans 14:11b- Every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So this means sin also bows to this blood. The power this blood has is so great and it purges us from all dead works. Hebrews 9:14- How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? We need to learn to engage God’s last card (The Blood) and it is part of our inheritance. The blood of Jesus is our legal term and it can destroy the devil. It is spotless and its divine nature can cause every dead thing to come to life; so that means we have gained a lot of victory by the blood. 1 Peter 1:19- But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. Although, this blood is so powerful, having a fellowship with God can make us get the full package of its benefits. 

Therefore, we must have faith in His blood because it renews and delivers us the guilt of sin. We have been washed by this blood, which means we are no longer polluted with all those things we have entangled ourselves with, but instead, we are clean and it is through His grace we are made whole. 1 Peter 1:2- Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.  Jesus has suffered on our behalf on the cross and in exchange, He has given us the power to put those sinful natures away. Rejoice because you have a great weapon over darkness and I pray we will conquer the devil and his agents by the blood, in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS: 

1. Thank you Lord, for offering yourself and make us a vessel of honor, in Jesus name.

2. Oh Lord, please purge us from any past, present or future sin that is hurting us through His grace, in Jesus name.
