The Power to Become.

Text: John 1:11-12 (KJV)

11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

The best invitation we have ever received is becoming the sons and daughters of the Most High. Although, many people still reject His invitation, due to their ignorance of the potential benefits, we must remember a great privilege. The truth is, becoming a son of God is a very special privilege and we must preserve it. Due to us accepting this invitation, we have been given access to liberty and this is a spiritual privilege and entitlement. Not only that but we have also been given a spiritual power and this power can do exploits. So that means our worth as believers keep rising as we become more like Him. Ephesians 3:20- Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. I tell you this power bestowed on us does not just keep us at the same level but it makes us to become a highflier (that means we can get to extreme heights in our particular field). Isn’t that amazing?

Interestingly, grace takes us to the fullness of this call of distinction and it also separates us from the crowd. The truth is, each and every one of us are qualified to be highfliers and that can be done by us believing in Him. There are altitudes and heights that God has set for us and it is your love for Him that takes you to that point. 2 Peter 1:4a- Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature. I tell you, we can reach that heights and always remember all things are possible with God. So I urge you to grow more in your love for Him and experience being a highflier. I pray God will help us, in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS: 

1. Oh Lord, please help me to live a righteous life, so as to enjoy my ordained height in this kingdom, in Jesus name.

2. Father, please may we begin to understand the inheritance that we have in you, in Jesus name.
