Loves us even with our loads of sin.

 

Text: Romans 5:8 (KJV)

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God’s love for us is an extraordinary one. His love is not just a love of saying “I love you”, but a love of action, and He proved it by letting His one and only Son to die for you and me while we were still lost. John 15:13- Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends. God clearly shows that He loves us so much despite all we have done against Him. His love is unconditional and He show it to us in numerous ways. The truth is, despite the fact that we are helpless and powerless, He does not use that as our weakness or against us but instead He loves us even more. Remember, sin is dangerous, sin is contagious, sin is wicked, sin is demonic, but He loves us to bring us out of them all.  This makes us to understand that His love for us is not by our merit but because He is God. His love does great things and we are all living wonders of His love. Brethren, we need to rejoice because we are declared free from all guilt and sin due to Him allowing His Son’s blood to be shed for us. His love is real and it is without blemish. 1 John 3:16- This is how we know what real love is: Jesus gave his life for us. So we should give our lives for each other as brothers and sisters. Have you ever thought about the fact that man qualifies you when you are truly qualified but God accepts you when you are not even qualified and competent? Wow!! We can learn a lot from His love and one amazing fact is that His love breaks the power of the old sinful nature in man which is resident in our heart. 

Interestingly, God loves you as if you are the only one on the surface of the earth, and He values each and every one of us uniquely. Wow!!! We are so precious to Him even as Jesus is to Him. This love embraces all ages and lands also, time and age does not shift this great love. Due to Jesus’ blood on the cross, we get salvation, but did you know that your salvation brought joy in Heaven? So do not toy with it or limit your possession because of ignorance. I pray God will help us, in Jesus name. 

PRAYER POINTS: 

1.Oh Lord, thank you for the privilege to know that your love is not a perishable love like silver and gold, in Jesus name.

2. Father, help us to offer our bodies as an instrument of sacrifice, so as to draw many to this eternal love in Jesus name.
