God is ALL

 

Text: Ephesians 4:6-7 (KJV)

One God and father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

The sovereignty of God is best when experienced. We can plan all our strategies and set our schedule, but God must be in all and we must give Him His place. God is the answer to all our problems put together, so it is wise to plan with his consent. He is exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think, He is the superior being controlling the whole universe and He turns it the way He wants it to go. He is working throughout the earth, He is in the heavens, and He sees far and sees all. Whatever exists around us is a reflection of God’s love as He is in all we do, so let us put God first as our number one priority. This should reflect in our concept of worship and devotion towards God. We put God first by spending quality time with Him. We should thank Him for his sovereignty by understanding “His Will,” which is explained in His Word. We should also discipline ourselves for a close fellowship with Him for His nature to rob on us and transform us.

In our environment, we should create an attitude of ‘GOD IN ALL’ mentality and seek to create intimacy with His presence. He desires continuous fellowship; that is why when Adam lost it in the Garden of Eden, we saw God's response to man and the punishment involved. There is a need to develop a genuine relationship with God as a priority above all, as we are God's business of the day.  We are surrounded by so many things that strive to replace God in our lives but learn to have a communion with GOD. We should learn to report a matter to God first since God is overall in our life. If you put God first, it will soon show up as you make Him your expert professional adviser. Philippians 2:9 - Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name. There is an attitude that will crown your efforts to excellent and peaceful success if we put God first in all. We are like a pen in the hand of God, and He is in charge of all. His throne is higher and more excellent than all; therefore, we should stand with Him. He is overall and has the power to change all things in season and out of season. He establishes and makes all things well in his time. We need to be in the centre of His Will. Judges 8:23 - And Gideon said unto them I will not rule over you, neither shall my son rule over you: the Lord shall rule over you”. As we surrender to God, there will be victory in all, in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1) Father, do a new thing in my life that the people may know that You ruleth in my affairs, in Jesus name.

2) Father, help us to always remember You in all we do in life, in Jesus name.
