Spoken words are stepping stones

 

Text: Mark 11:23(KJV)

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Spoken words are very powerful and I encourage you to partake in it more often. It will surprise you to know that the mountain you are facing or scared of is actually waiting for you to say something to it. All you just need to do is to take that step of faith, remember it should be done with no doubt in your heart. The truth is, our lives are totally influenced by the words which we speak; therefore, we should learn to frame our world with positive words. We need to build our confidence so as to proclaim positive and powerful words into our lives. We also need to groom our speech by filling our hearts with right and seasoned words and by the help of the Holy Spirit it becomes a lifestyle. Luke6:45-A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. It will surprise you to know that what you are made of is what proceeds out of your mouth, so as obedient children of God, I will encourage you to speak good things out of our heart because if not, the evil things stored up will proceed. 

We should always be careful because the way we talk is actually who we are. So if our words are sinful that means our heart also conceives sinful things. Proverbs 4:23- Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. It is very important to tame your speech, although it is a free gift from God to man. We should begin to speak out what we desire, so as we begin to see them manifest around us. Always say what you want to see in every area of your life and watch the future deliver it to you. The truth is, mare wishing or desiring a mountain to remove is not the same as declaring the mountain to remove but what makes the difference is the action taken. That mountain can melt away by your strong confidence in your spoken word, so invest in that today and see your future turn around by God’s grace.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.       Father, please may I produce good treasure from my heart as a believer that will mould my day with positive words, in Jesus name.

2.       Oh Lord, may what I say in prayer agree with what I confess out of prayer in Jesus name.
