Go for Light

 

Text: John 1:5(KJV)

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

One thing which the Holy Spirit has made me understand is that the quest of man ends at the illumination of light and this is done by the revelation of the Spirit via the Word of God. We know that we live in a fallen world and despite all our efforts put in we cannot conquer the needs of our life, but if we can be frank with our self, we will accept the fact that the only solution to all those needs and concerns is found in the Light. The light we are talking about has the brightest illumination and once it illuminates all forms and shades of darkness get overpowered. This tells us that darkness can never take a hold or comprehend it. This light can penetrate into those thick shades of darkness but one must come to the realization that we are the light. Mathew 5:14- Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. This scripture tells us that we are the light of the world, which means as the light that we are, no form of darkness can penetrate or operate around us.

With this understanding, this means our current burden can be eliminated by our influence of light. The truth is, as children of God this light is part of our inheritance and we must utilize it. I tell you, the light that we carry can outshine all forms of struggles all we just need to do is to declare the Word of God over those struggles or burdens, SO WHY WAIT EXTRA TIME, ACT NOW.  Matthew 5:16- Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven. Remember, this fountain of light flows from Christ which means there is no limitation and there cannot be any interruption to its flow. So I urge you to allow the relevance of light in your heart as to follow its direction for living. Now go for the light!!

PRAYER POINTS:

1.      Father, may I go and increase the intensity of my light that will swallow every dark circumstance around me, in Jesus name.

2.      Oh Lord, please help me to openly manifest the glory of God in my world as I expel darkness and its works, in Jesus name.
